For most of us, losing weight isn’t something that just happens; it has to be worked at. Eating healthy is a huge part of losing those last few holiday, pregnancy or any other excess poundage you may have. Oatmeal: whether it is steel-cut oats or rolled oats, oatmeal is a great way to start your day. Particularly when you add some fresh fruit, milk, nuts and/or honey to it.

Grapefruit: have this before any meal and you can actually lose weight faster! Filled with fat-burning properties, this fruit positively affects insulin and blood sugar levels along with giving you tons of antioxidants.
